Nearpod is a really awesome tool....that's kind of hard to explain. This is the definition I found "Nearpod is a collaborative presentation tool that allows teachers to engage and assess their students using mobile devices."
Essentially if your students have either an iPad, chromebook, or just a regular computer in front of them during your presentation you can push out information on your presentation to them, and even give them quizzes and polls!
Below is an example of someone doing this with iPads. The left screen is the teacher screen - what you would see, and do. On the right hand side, you will see what the student would see and do. REMEMBER - although this is shown with iPads, it does work with other technologies!
