Prezi is a REALLY cool way to present information. It is like PowerPoint on steroids.
I've already have had three people come up to me today stating that they REALLY would like to go to the Prezi.com Appy hour, but because of other commitments are unable to. So I decided to try and get this out early to everyone. Here is a brief explanation about what Prezi is, and how to get started.
First - Create an account if you haven't already done so! Go to prezi.com and click "Get Started"
Next - Scroll down to where it says "Students and Teachers" and click on "Educational Licenses".

Then select the first column Edu Enjoy: (you can try the one month free trial of the more advance, but KWCPS does not have an account with Prezi).
You MUST use your KWCPS email in order to get this free account. There is another basic account for those of you who want to use another email address not associated with the school. If you are interested in that, it doesn't allow you as much control, but I can assist you in setting that up.
The following is a video exploring the website, and giving you a basic idea of how to get started:
**Warning I am talking softly in the video. I had students testing outside my office, so I didn't want to speak to loudly. Turn your speakers way up!

Prezi is pretty simple, but it looks like it can be complex. Please let me know if you have any problems using it, want some ideas on how to use it, or found out something cool about it that you think the rest of the group might benefit from!
